My husband and I enjoyed six nights in this cabin. It was very clean and very well equipped. I especially enjoyed the cabin being on one level and with only a couple of steps away from where we had to park our car. It is a very nice area and convenient to the Forge in just a few minutes. The owner was easy to contact and everything dealing with booking and paying was just as it should have been. We hope to return at another date!

My wife and I spent our 35th anniversary here for a getaway. This cabin had everything we needed to relax. It is close enough to get back to Pigeon Forge for activities, but a great wooded secluded area. Easy to get to. We will be coming back for the next relaxing time. One fireplace in the living room, and one in the bedroom!!!
The cabin Is very comfortable and it is a nice place to stay. Close to Pigeon forge. The owner responded quickly and she was very helpful with the process. I would definitely use this cabin again if I have another getaway with my husband and kid. Thanks so much!!

Quiet and Peaceful Stay

My husband, my daughter, her best friend (both 12) and myself just left from a 3 night stay at John 15:12. After trying to decide which one of Natalie's cabins we wanted to rent (because they all seemed wonderful), we missed out on our top 2 choices, but Natalie worked with us and we were able to rent this cabin. Which turned out to be amazing. It was not hard to find the cabin (google maps and Natalie's directions were spot on). The road is a little steep, but it is paved and it was easy to get to. The cabin was very clean, lots of extra towels, everything you need to cook/eat with, ice, both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable, the hot tub was so relaxing, the wooded view was nice and it was very quiet and peaceful. We definitely didn't want to leave. Thank you Natalie. We will be back!
Cozy Cabin in the Woods!

My boyfriend and I just returned from spending 5 wonderful nights in the Great Smoky Mountains in Natalie's cabin. The location was perfect for us, a short drive to the national park and the more "touristy" areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Additionally there was tons of privacy from other cabins in the area. The cabin was very clean and the living spaces were wonderful for making a home cooked meal and relaxing after a long day of hiking by hopping in the hot tub! Natalie was very helpful during the booking process and was very clear in directions and instructions about the property. My only complaint is that our stay was too short but we enjoyed our time immensely and will definitely be back to John 15:12 very soon! Thank you Natalie for your hospitality!

My husband and I just spent our honeymoon here in this sweet little cabin. We loved the location, it feels like you are totally secluded even thought there are other cabins around. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub on the enclosed porch was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back!
This size cabin was perfect for us! My husband, me, and a 15 & 10 year old. They slept in the living room, the 15 year old on the pull out and the 10 year old opting to make his nest in the recliner even though we had brought a sleeping bag for him, as the bedroom is plenty big enough and carpeted. The location is great, easy to get to, close to things, feels secluded, and the road to get to it is not scary. Super easy load in/out. The price is right and the cabin is so cute and clean. It was like staying at a friends' house. Had everything we needed and the King size was super comfy. Having 2 full bathrooms was fantastic and allowed us to get ready in the morning super fast. I will warn that this is a dry county, (we don't have those where we're from, so this was new). The restaurants can serve, but only 3.2 beer is available for taking back to the cabin, so if you like a cocktail or 2 at the end of the day, BYOB. (We'd luckily done that). We're also a little picky about our drinking water, so will bring our own next time. Had a wonderful stay though, and none of us wanted to leave! So much nicer than staying in a noisy hotel. Hope to return!
Amazing Anniversary Weekend Retreat

My husband and I just returned from our weekend getaway to celebrate our 16 year wedding anniversary. We were lucky in finding this little jewel. It was the perfect size for just me and him. The location is amazing. It is surrounded by beautiful trees, with other houses close by, but because of the location and foliage, you still feel secluded. It is not hard to find or time consuming when traveling between Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg to the cabin. We traveled to the area not so much for sight seeing, because we do come often with our children for that. But we wanted a peaceful stress free weekend, and we got it. Between the location, the feel of the cabin, and the relaxing hot tube, we couldn't have asked for anything better. We were weary at first because my husband is a smoker, but please don't let that scare you away. There is a huge back porch where the hot tube is that is completely screened in, so if you do smoke you can relax out there and have your smoke breaks. There is also a great little front porch with rockers to enjoy to. We felt so at home here, and had such a great weekend. Natalie is great to work with. She is quick and efficient. We had no problems while there, but I was comfortable with the fact that I knew if anything was needed she would have absolutely assisted anyway she could have. We will definitely be returning to this little jewel, and highly recommend it to others.

Cabin is very relaxing. It is perfect for two people. Provides a welcome feel not always found in lodging of this type. Screened in porch is great for early morning coffee as things come to.life of late evening hot tub use. Provides an extra layer of privacy.
My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was just perfect. The king sized bed was very comfortable and we were given plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked well. The cabin is cozy and we loved having the screened-in porch as well as the rocking chairs on the front deck where we could enjoy morning coffee. It was nice to be close to Pigeon Forge but away from the crowds. We can't wait to return! Thank you Natalie!

It has been the most enjoyable week in this wonderful cabin. What a great place to spend our 50th Anniversary.
Were able to enjoy the short drive to Pigeon Forge to the different shows & to just stay at the cabin & relax. Really liked having two bathrooms, & the high kitchen table & stools along with the king size bed which was very comfortable. There wasn't anything we needed to buy except groceries.

My husband and I stayed in late July 2014 at this lovely little cabin. We loved where the cabin was located at. It was far enough away we felt like we were in the mountains but not so far away that it took too long to get anywhere. I am very particular about things but this cabin passed my inspection for sure. Natalie was very quick and helpful. We will definitely stay in one of her cabins again.

We loved this cabin. This is the fourth time staying in one of Natalie's cabins and it was great. Of course, the decor is great and Christmas themed. We liked everything about the cabin. You are away from others enough to feel alone but know that you are fairly close to all the stuff Pigeon Forge has to offer. I would definitely recommend this to any couple or family with small children who just wants to get away for a while and spend some quality time together. Thanks you again Natalie.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin. It is plenty spacious for two with the added bonus of two complete bathrooms. Four would work, but somebody's gonna be on the pullout sofa. ;-) From my wife's perspective the only thing missing was a washer/dryer. This isn't a ding on the property, though, just an option she would like to have seen. Not everyone likes to do laundry while on vacation. :-) The surroundings are an intimate setting without a lot of traffic so it was very peaceful throughout our stay. There are other cabins around this unit, but there's still plenty of "elbow room" as they aren't on top of each other like others I have seen. There are actually two different routes that lead in also so you aren't forced to deal with steep inclines unless you like that sort of thing. That would be a definite plus in inclement weather. Overall it was just a great place to stay with easy access to the downtown Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas. Natalie is a wonderful person to work with on the rental side and we caught her red-handed in full "Christmas-compulsion" mode! Great to meet you Natalie. God bless.

Very charming cabin nestled in the woods. Large bedroom and having 2 bathrooms was very nice. Loved the screened-in back deck overlooking the woods. Christmas decorations were a plus. Quiet and peaceful, no traffic. Easy to get to and close to Pigeon Forge. Kroger's is on the way to the cabin, which was handy for us. Natalie was great to work with. Just got home from this cabin...pictures do not do this cabin justice!! Loved everything about it!! Location, size and comfort, loved the screend in back deck with hot tub, loved the fact that the only entrance to back deck was through the cabin, made me safe while soaking!
Natalie is fantastic to work with, this is the third time staying in one of her cabins, And I am sure it wont be the last. This cabin has everything you need, I would highly recomend it to anyone!
Great Getaway Weekend

My wife and I just got back from John 15:12 this afternoon after a very enjoyable weekend in the cabin. Everything was fantastic. Just the right size for a couple's retreat. Enjoyed the hot tub every evening and taking a soak in the morning before starting the day. If you enjoy Japanese Habachi Grilled Food and Sushi you should try "Little Tokyo" on Teaster Lane, the food is terrific and they even have a early bird special from 3 to 5 Mon - Fri.
Natalie was great to work with and answered e-mails quickly. Would definitely stay in one of her cabins again.

I LOVED this little cabin! It is located just far away from town to help you feel secluded, but everything you need is within a short drive. The decor is adorable and we loved the furnishings. It was very clean and had everything we needed (except food, of course)! We were pleasantly surprised to find that even toiletries, paper towels and dish soap (along with a host of other supplies) were stocked. I was so thankful for the extra blankets and pillows provided!
We loved the gas grill and my husband commented that it was so easy to clean. The hot tub was fantastic and we enjoyed dinner on the back porch one evening.
A tip: When Natalie provides you directions to the cabin, follow them! Do NOT trust your GPS!! My husband and I made that mistake the first day and felt like we were on a roller coaster!! Her way is MUCH better!!

This cabin was wonderful! It's not too far from all the attractions Pigeon Forge has to offer. The area is private and peaceful even though there are cabins nearby. Natalie was incredibly easy to work with and prompt with all communications. I would stay at this or any other cabin she has the next time we're in the area.

We love this cabin. This is our 3rd time staying here and we love everything about it. You are secluded but not totally off the beaten path. There are cabins around you but you are within the trees enough that you don't really notice it. I would definitely recommend this to any couple who just wants to get away, spend some quality time together, relax in the hot tub and just forget about everything else. Thanks Natalie. I am sure we will stay here again and again.

We were looking for a cabin that was in the mountains, but yet close to activities. John 15:12 fit the bill! Natalie was great! She is a pleasure to work with. We spent one day in Dollywood and one day going to various places in town. The cabin was so nice to come home to after a cold day out! Natalie has thought of everything when she furnished the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening hours. One day we drove to Cade's Cove and really enjoyed it. We even met some people that live near us and knew out grown children! This was a much needed time for my husband and I to have some down time! Thank you Natalie!

This was a very nice cabin. It was close enough to get to town quickly but secluded enough to feel like you were alone in the woods. The cabin was very clean and tidy with lots of nice touches with the country theme. We will definately return.
Everything you had listed about the cabin was correct. Everything was clean and neat and well maintained. Was only minutes from downtown and had no problems getting to and from the cabin in our van. Look forward to visiting any of your cabins in the future and will recommend to others.

The pictures do not do this cabin justice!! I called Natalie to see if going up a day earlier was possible, to my relief; it was available. Not only was the outside light left on for us ,but walking into the cabin was like a fresh breath of air. The cabin was so relaxing and the hot tub was divine!!!! It rained on the second day and the tin roof just sent us back to sleep...... We needed to get away and this was the perfect place. Natalie, we will be back!!!!! Hands down, the best Mother's Day weekend that I have had in a long time!!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin and it was as good as the first time. Natalie has a great cabin here. Secluded enough to be very comfortable but not so much to where you are all alone in the woods. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any couple who wants to get away for a nice quiet weekend.

My wife and I fell in love with this cabin. It is not completely secluded but it is hidden enough to make you feel that way. The owner was great to work with while making the reservations. The cabin is decorated in a Christmas theme which was perfect for my wife since that is her favorite holiday. Everything about this was top notch and I would refer this cabin and it's owners to anyone.

My sister and I were here from 11/7/11 till 11/12/11. This place is wonderful, it is very peaceful and quiet, and it is the cleanest place I think I have ever stayed at. We enjoyed all of it, the back porch was wonderful with the hot tub and we had everything we needed in the cabin to make our stay wonderful. We stayed in the cabin a lot and just enjoyed the surroundings. We can't wait to come back and are already looking at the calendar to book something for next year. Natalie makes this place the absolute best it can be, thank you so much for all your hard work. The christmas decorations were so beautiful and we enjoyed them everyday. We arrived very late at night to this cute cabin. It provides all the amenities you need to relax. Full size kitchen has enough pots, pans, and plates to cook delicious meals and enjoy it! The king size bed is comfortable and the bedroom is large. We loved the decorations and the furniture. So cute for a cabin! It was nice to have ice in the freezer from the ice maker upon arrival. A welcoming lit living room when you enter the cabin is a nice touch as well. It is clean and quite functional. Would definitely recommend this cabin!
Truly Peaceful and Enjoyable
We had a great experience in this truly lovely cabin. It was exactly what we needed. The cabin has nice amenities and the owners are quite accomodating. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, and dishes you would need. When we arrived, the ice maker had been turned on which was a nice touch to have ice without having to wait to make it yourself. We arrived very late at night to find the tree lit in the living room and an artificial red rose on the coffee table....a nice welcoming after a long drive in the rain. The bedroom is large and the king size bed was quite comfortable. If you want a clean place to stay this is it!

We absolutely loved our recent stay at this warm and inviting cabin. I cannot say enough good things about it. The cabin was so clean, comfortable, and cozy. We were very happy with the location as it was a very short drive to the Pigeon Forge strip; yet, it was also in an area where you have both privacy and "neighbors" as the other surrounding cabins are not on top of one another. We would most definitely choose to stay here for future visits.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. The Autumn in the Smokies is the best place to be with all the beautiful colors. The cabin is very cozy and after visiting our favorite shops and restaurants it was so nice to come back to the quiet cabin and relax by the fire in the chilly evenings. The cabin is very convenient to all the Smokies have to offer. We hope to stay here again.

I booked this cabin with Natalie and Greg for a long weekend with my husband - a "Get Out of Dodge" type of weekend. The cabin was so easy to find, and even though there are neighbors, we felt like the only ones in the area. Just a few minutes from Pigeon Forge, but a wonderful - quiet - retreat. We definitely hope to visit again in the future, and would reccommend this cabin to anyone!

A Much Needed Stay

I had a wonderful weekend at this cabin, everything was clean and in order. Initially I had planned to go at the end of August (Labor Day Weekend). I had previously had surgery and had to undergo what I thought was a minor surgery. My special one, Chief McGee and I were packed and ready to depart the next morning. I started experiencing stomach pains and spent the weekend in hospital - released Labor Day, the day I would have been returning from trip. I texted Natalie and she expressed the most genuine concern for me. I don't think it's by accident that I chose one of Natalie's cabin to book or that the cabins are all named books of the bible. Though I understand that this is a business, Natalie is someone genuinely concerned about the well-fare of others and what better person can you find to do business with than a person of this character! I would definitely recommend her cabins to others and look forward to returning.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The screened porch was fantastic, we really enjoyed watching the rain from the (dry) comfort of the porch. My wife wanted to bring the king-size bed home with us. The location is perfect, close to town, but secluded enough for privacy. Although there are other cabins nearby, we felt as though we were the only ones on the mountain. We have stayed in quite a few cabins over the years (most with a higher rental rate), but this is the best one yet. I hope we will be able to get this same cabin on our next trip to the mountains.

This was our first time staying in a cabin. It was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. None of the noise that comes with staying in a motel. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the Christmas trees and all the decorations. We would definately do it again.

The Honeymoon We Never Had

We loved staying at this cabin, it was quiet and peaceful. We celebrated our 20th anniversary, it was the honeymoon we never had!!! It was great!! We could not have had better people to rent the cabin from!! They are so nice!! I would HIGHLY recommend renting from Natalie and Greg!!! Loved it!! Our stay this past weekend was wonderful as always. The location of the cabins is so peaceful. Friday ngt a bear cub came to the back of the cabin and started scratching, after making lots of noise it ran into the woods below. If you haven't stayed in one of the cabins, I highly recommend them. I hope to be able to stay again in a few months.

I can't begin to tell you all the heart warming feelings, that we felt as soon as we drove in the driveway. This place is truly blessed with the Holy Spirit. You all have passed your blessings on to other people. Your hearts have to be so large. You don't find people much anymore like you and Greg. There is no sadness, just happiness.No fear, just security, and last such peacefulness. This is what Our Lord wants for all. You all made this possible for us. Thank you all so very much.

We have been fortunate enough to stay in 2 of this owners cabins John 15:12 and Matthew11:28. I must first say thank you to Greg & Natalie owners of the property for such a marvelous cabin. We had a great time and we plan to return on a bi-yearly basis until we build our own retreat. Everything was provided...the decor was warm and inviting...the location of the cabin was fantastic. Secluded but yet close to town. WE LOVED IT.
John 15:12 was our first time being in a cabin and now will not go back to just a hotel. I must say that we had a great time.
I think that these are two of the best cabins in that area. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Keep us on your list.

Perfect getaway for a small family
I have a family of 4 and this cabin was perfect for us. The cabin is very well taken care of, everything was clean and in working condition. It is conveniently located just miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and the roads to the cabin are not bad at all. I would warn that if you go in the snow to make sure you have 4WD for the one hill right before you get to the cabin. However, the scenery was great and though there are neighboring cabins, we never once noticed them while we were in the cabin or on the back porch because of the forested privacy. My wife and daughter made good use of the hot tub after wiping out a few times ice skating....LOL. Natalie is easy to work with and was professional and courteous; one of the nicest people I have done business with and she went out of her way while I was trying to make the reservations. I would highly recommend looking at her He Is Risen Cabins website because she has more cabins that I, personally, plan to stay at. I will be doing business with Natalie again soon!

Thanks for letting us stay in your cute and cozy cabin. The cabin had everything we needed for our family of 4 vacation. It was very well clean and had plenty of room for us. It rained one of the nights we were here, but we used it as a movie night, and watched a few DVDs from your collection which made it really nice! We hope to be back soon!
Great Stay and Hard to Leave

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. The cabin was extremely clean and warm and inviting. We had everything we needed in a home away from home. It rained most of our stay, but we didn't mind because the hot tub was warm and relaxing. The directions Natalie provided to the cabin were spot on and made it very easy to find. It was a very convenient distance to the parkway. We didn't have to call for anything, because everything was great, but she let us know that we could call for any problems. The King size bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't use the sofa bed, because my son won't be separated from us, but the bedroom was big enough that we were able to use an air mattress in the bedroom and still have room to walk around. There were plenty of blankets and pillows provided. I loved that the bathroom was conveniently located to the hot tub. My 5 year old loved the cabin so much, he cried when we had to leave. We will definitely book from Natalie again.

My daughter and I went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and we rented John 15:12. The cabin was very nice and comfortable. We had a great time and it was close to both places while be in a secluded area. I would recommend anyone that wants to get away to contact them for any of their cabins.

We are from Louisiana and needed a get away after the crop was in. We are farmers and wanted to go to the mountains. The cabin was GREAT. So comfortable and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Thank you for the Christmas decorated cabin. We loved it.
